Sara is a 3rd-year Biomedical Engineering Bachelors student at the University of Groningen. She completed high school in Italy and USA, where she honed her skills in mathematics and chemistry and kindled an interest in MEMS. For her bachelor project, Sara will work on self-strengthening mechanical meta-materials, continuing her cross-sectional path that combines chemistry, materials sciences, robotics, and bioelectronics. Beyond the classroom, she finds joy in exploring new places, immersing herself in fictional literature, and cherishing moments with loved ones.
